Information on the provincial Pre-Primary Program in AVRCE, including locations, eligibility, registration, busing availability. Starting in September 2020, Pre-Primary will be offered in all school communities, with transportation available for eligible children.
We welcome families to contact their local school as soon as possible to register for Primary or Pre-Primary for the 2020-2021 school year.

In November, Roman Javorek, a student in the AP Capstone program at Northeast Kings Education Centre, was invited to take part in a Biodiversity Writer’s Retreat conference to develop a position paper on preserving ocean biodiversity. The paper will be presented to the federal government as part of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development 2021-2030.

Story by Jorja Taylor, Central Kings Rural High School Student -- The students at Annapolis East Elementary School, hold their breath as they wait to hear the winner for this month’s ‘Golden Broom award’. For almost a decade, homerooms have competed against one another for a chance to display the trophy, a spray painted, glistening gold broom, seated on a wood platform, in their classroom. It isn’t just about the trophy though; the students are learning some valuable lessons, too.
